Parapara Lookout Coastal Stay is a well-loved family holiday home with plenty of character and a comfortable, easy-going feel of a classic Kiwi holiday home. It’s simple, spacious and welcoming, with the focus firmly on enjoying the location, the views and time together.
There’s plenty of room for families and groups to spread out over two levels, whether you're relaxing in the sunny upstairs living area, enjoying the sea views, spending time outside or heading down to the beach.
With a full kitchen, laundry facilities, Starlink Wi-Fi, generous living spaces and pets welcome, it has all the essentials for an easy Golden Bay getaway.
The Space
The house is spread over two levels, with a combination of private bedrooms, living area and additional open-plan sleeping.

The spacious upstairs living area enjoys lovely sea views and also includes a queen bed and single bed.
Please note that these two beds are within the open-plan area rather than a private bedroom.

While the sleeping configuration can accommodate more guests, we cap bookings at 6-7 guests as the house has one bathroom and one toilet.
We want everyone staying at Parapara Lookout to be comfortable, so if you have a larger group and are happy with the bathroom setup, please contact Golden Bay Escapes before booking and we can discuss whether the property will suit your group.
Good to Know
Parapara Lookout is all about easy, relaxed holiday living. It has the casual, comfortable character of a family holiday home and is particularly suited to guests who appreciate space, a peaceful setting, sea views and having the beach close by.
A motorhome is situated at the rear of the property, and its occupant may be on site during your stay. The motorhome is separate and well away from the house, and guests have private use of the holiday home.
The occupant also has two small dogs, which may occasionally be around the property.
If your idea of a Golden Bay holiday is kicking off your shoes, slowing down, enjoying the view and wandering down to the beach, Parapara Lookout is a lovely place to do just that.
COST PER NIGHT:
Peak Season (Dec – end Jan): Min 2 night stay $320 per night
Shoulder Season (Mar – May, Oct – Nov): min 2 night stay $279 per night
Low Season (Jun – Sept): 1 night stays accepted $249 per night
Rates cover up to 6 guests. Additional guests are welcome at $50 per person, per night.
Long weekends and stat days will be a 3 night minimum.
Pricing is indicative and subject to change based on demand, events, and holidays.
